We visited the grounds last Friday evening to do a site safety check for archery at Paxtons Garden fete on Sunday 1st August. Not only were we very warmly welcomed by Alan the groundsman but were greatly impressed by the house gardens and their suitability for our noble sport. The number of very old Yew trees is exceptional, suggesting that archery may have been one of the past times of previous reidents of Paxton. We and other of our archers a greatly looking forward to the Garden Fete See you there. www.southernupland.com
We visited Paxton House at the end of June. It's a real gem and great value for money for guided tour + visit. Thanks to George who did our tour.
